Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport is one of China's busiest airports, having served as the primary aviation gateway to Sichuan Province and western China for decades. Located 16 km southwest of central Chengdu, the airport offers the most convenient transit for travelers visiting the city center, panda research bases, and central Chengdu attractions. Shuangliu handles a significant volume of domestic routes alongside international services to destinations across Asia, and continues to operate alongside the newer Tianfu Airport. The Airport Express Bus Line 1 provides regular service to downtown Chengdu in approximately 40 minutes.

Chengdu Tianfu International Airport opened in 2021 as one of China's largest and most technologically advanced airports, designed to serve the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle's rapidly growing passenger volume. Located approximately 50 km southeast of central Chengdu in Jianyang, the airport features four runways, two massive terminal buildings, and capacity for over 90 million passengers annually at full build-out. The airport is connected to the city center by high-speed rail link and expressway, with the Tianfu International Airport Intercity Railway providing a 30-minute journey to Chengdu East Railway Station. Tianfu Airport serves as a major hub for international routes across Asia, Europe, and North America.

Chunxi Road Metro Station is the busiest commercial district station on the Chengdu Metro, located beneath one of China's most celebrated pedestrian shopping streets in the heart of Chengdu's Jinjiang District. The station serves Metro Line 2 and is directly connected by underground walkways to Taikoo Li Chengdu, IFS International Finance Square, and the iconic Chunxi Road pedestrian zone — collectively forming Chengdu's premier luxury retail, dining, and entertainment precinct. The surrounding area is also home to countless Sichuan hotpot restaurants, tea houses, and Chengdu's most vibrant street food culture, making this station the starting point for an essential Chengdu experience.
