Wat Arun

Wat Arun

Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, stands majestically on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok. Its iconic spire, adorned with colorful porcelain fragments, rises 70 meters and shimmers at sunrise and sunset. Named after Aruna, the Hindu god of dawn, the temple dates to the Ayutthaya era and is one of Thailand's most recognizable landmarks.
