Hotel Camino Real Polanco Mexico City
Hotel Camino Real Polanco is one of Mexico City's most architecturally significant hotels, designed by Ricardo Legorreta in 1968 in a vivid expression of Mexican modernism — primary colors, water features, bold geometric forms, and the influence of Luis Barragán. The hotel's famous pink, yellow, and purple palette has become a landmark of Polanco's Presidente Masaryk shopping corridor, and its pool terrace, lobby art installations, and Fouquet's de Paris restaurant have kept it culturally relevant across six decades. A restoration has brought modern amenities while preserving the audacious Legorreta design that makes Camino Real one of the most important modernist hotel buildings in Latin America.
