Golden Triangle

The Golden Triangle is the legendary area where the borders of Thailand, Laos, and Myanmar converge at the confluence of the Mekong and Ruak rivers, once the world's largest opium-producing region and now a popular tourist destination in northern Thailand near Chiang Rai.
