Beomeosa Temple

Beomeosa Temple

Beomeosa Temple is one of Korea's most beautiful Buddhist temples, founded in 678 AD on the wooded slopes of Geumjeongsan Mountain on the northern edge of Busan. Its elegant wooden halls, colorful dancheong paintings, and stone lanterns are set among ancient trees and mountain streams, creating a contemplative atmosphere far removed from the modern city below. A traditional temple stay program allows visitors to experience monastic life.
