British Columbia Parliament Buildings
The British Columbia Parliament Buildings in Victoria are a magnificent example of Victorian Romanesque Revival architecture, a copper-domed legislative building fronting the Inner Harbour that has housed the BC Legislative Assembly since 1898. The illuminated building is the focal point of Victoria's harbor panorama at night, when its outline of lights reflects in the water. The public galleries welcome visitors during legislative sessions, and tours of the building's ornate interior murals and stained glass are offered daily.
