Yanaka Ginza
Yanaka Ginza is a nostalgic shotengai (shopping street) in Tokyo's Yanaka neighborhood, one of the city's best-preserved Showa-era districts that escaped wartime bombing. Its row of small shops, family-run restaurants, tofu sellers, and cat-themed boutiques evokes an older Tokyo that has largely disappeared elsewhere. The surrounding Yanaka cemetery and temple lanes add to the area's contemplative, village-like charm.
