Tsingy de Bemaraha

Tsingy de Bemaraha

Tsingy de Bemaraha is Madagascar's most spectacular natural wonder, a UNESCO World Heritage reserve protecting an extraordinary limestone karst landscape of razor-sharp stone needles (tsingy) rising to 200 meters — one of the world's most remarkable geological formations. The labyrinthine tsingy pinnacles are explored via suspension bridges and cables, while the surrounding dry deciduous forest shelters endemic species including lemurs and hundreds of endemic birds. It remains one of Africa's most remote and dramatic destinations.
