Fansipan - Roof of Indochina

Fansipan (Phan Xi Păng) at 3,143 meters is the highest peak in Vietnam and all of Indochina, earning it the title Roof of Indochina. Located in the Hoàng Liên Sơn range near Sapa in northern Vietnam, the summit can be reached by a 3-day trekking journey through subtropical and montane forest, or via a cable car (the world's longest) and staircase from Sapa town. The summit's panoramic views over northern Vietnam's mountain folds and the town of Sapa far below are extraordinary on clear days.
