Cat Linh Metro Station Hanoi

Cát Linh Station is the northern terminus of Hanoi Metro Line 2A — the city's first urban mass transit line, opened in 2021 after a decade-long construction project — and the gateway for commuters from the Ba Dinh and Dong Da districts into the southern suburbs of Hanoi. The elevated metro line runs 13 km from Cát Linh to Yên Nghĩa, connecting key areas including Thái Hà, Lang, and Hà Đông. While the metro network remains in its early stages of development compared to the city's size, Line 2A has attracted significant ridership and represents an important infrastructure milestone for Hanoi. Expansion lines connecting the city center to the airport and beyond are under construction.
