Rokujizo
Rokujizo is a historic district in Kyoto's Fushimi Ward, named after six protective Jizo Buddhist statues that were placed at the city's traditional entrances during the Heian period to guard travelers. The area is home to several historic temples and is conveniently located near the scenic Uji River. Rokujizo station provides easy access to the southern Kyoto area including the famous Fushimi Inari Taisha shrine.
