Nujiang Canyon
Nujiang Canyon (Nu River Canyon) in Yunnan Province is one of the world's deepest gorges, part of the UNESCO Three Parallel Rivers World Heritage Site. The Nu River (Salween) carves through a valley flanked by the Gaoligong and Biluoxue mountain ranges, dropping over 3,000 meters from its Tibetan source. The canyon shelters extraordinary biodiversity and the traditional villages of Lisu, Nu, and Dulong ethnic minorities.
