Hankyu Kyoto-Kawaramachi Station

Hankyu Kyoto-Kawaramachi is the terminus of the Hankyu Kyoto Line and the most central station for accessing Kyoto's downtown shopping and entertainment district. The station sits at the intersection of Shijo and Kawaramachi streets, surrounded by department stores, restaurants, and the covered Teramachi and Shinkyogoku shopping arcades. The Hankyu Line offers a fast, scenic route to Osaka's Umeda station in about 40 minutes, making this the preferred station for many visitors travelling between Kyoto and Osaka's Namba and Shinsaibashi shopping districts.
