Chengdu Tianfu International Airport (TFU)

Chengdu Tianfu International Airport opened in 2021 as one of China's largest and most technologically advanced airports, designed to serve the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle's rapidly growing passenger volume. Located approximately 50 km southeast of central Chengdu in Jianyang, the airport features four runways, two massive terminal buildings, and capacity for over 90 million passengers annually at full build-out. The airport is connected to the city center by high-speed rail link and expressway, with the Tianfu International Airport Intercity Railway providing a 30-minute journey to Chengdu East Railway Station. Tianfu Airport serves as a major hub for international routes across Asia, Europe, and North America.
