Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport (CTU)

Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport is one of China's busiest airports, having served as the primary aviation gateway to Sichuan Province and western China for decades. Located 16 km southwest of central Chengdu, the airport offers the most convenient transit for travelers visiting the city center, panda research bases, and central Chengdu attractions. Shuangliu handles a significant volume of domestic routes alongside international services to destinations across Asia, and continues to operate alongside the newer Tianfu Airport. The Airport Express Bus Line 1 provides regular service to downtown Chengdu in approximately 40 minutes.
