Nyepi Balinese New Year
Bali's Day of Silence is a unique Hindu New Year celebration where the entire island shuts down for 24 hours of meditation, fasting, and self-reflection. The day before Nyepi features spectacular Ogoh-Ogoh parade of giant demon effigies that are burned to cleanse negative spirits.
