Vai Palm Beach

Vai Palm Beach on eastern Crete is Greece's most exotic beach, backed by Europe's largest natural palm forest — a grove of approximately 5,000 Cretan date palms (Phoenix theophrasti) that creates a tropical oasis at the edge of the Mediterranean. The sheltered turquoise lagoon is ideal for swimming, and the combination of golden sand, crystal water, and rustling palms is unlike anything else in Greece.
