Los Angeles Union Station

Los Angeles Union Station

Los Angeles Union Station is the main railway terminus of the greater Los Angeles area, a National Historic Landmark that opened in 1939 and represents a masterful blend of Spanish Colonial Revival, Mission Revival, and Streamline Moderne architecture. The station serves Amtrak's long-distance Coast Starlight, Pacific Surfliner, and Southwest Chief routes, and is also the hub for LA Metro's subway and light rail network. Union Station's grand waiting hall with its leather seating, marble floors, and wood-beam ceilings has become one of the most photographed interiors in Los Angeles, and it frequently serves as a film and television production location.
