Termas de Puritama

Termas de Puritama is a series of eight natural hot spring pools cascading down a sheltered canyon near San Pedro de Atacama in northern Chile's high desert. The thermal waters, fed by underground geothermal springs at around 33°C, offer a blissful outdoor bathing experience amid a dramatic desert landscape at 3,500 meters elevation. Set in a narrow gorge with lush vegetation surprising in the arid Atacama, the pools are one of the most relaxing stops in northern Chile.
