Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza
The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza in Dallas occupies the floor from which Lee Harvey Oswald allegedly fired the shots that killed President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. Housed in the former Texas School Book Depository building overlooking the assassination site, the museum presents a comprehensive and balanced examination of Kennedy's life, assassination, death, and its enduring impact on American history and culture. The corner window from which Oswald fired is preserved behind glass.
