Lake Pehoe

Lake Pehoe

Lake Pehoé is a glacially formed lake within Torres del Paine National Park in Chilean Patagonia, renowned for its extraordinary turquoise color and dramatic backdrop of the Cuernos del Paine (Horns of Paine) rising steeply from its northern shore. A small island on the lake, accessible by catamaran, houses the iconic Paine Grande mountain hut — the starting point for the W and O treks. Sunrise and sunset light on the peaks reflected in the turquoise lake are among Patagonia's most magnificent spectacles.
