Keflavik International Airport (KEF)

Keflavik International Airport (KEF)

Keflavik International Airport is Iceland's main international gateway, located 48 km southwest of Reykjavik on the Reykjanes Peninsula. The airport serves as a transatlantic hub for Icelandair, which uses Reykjavik's geographic position between North America and Europe to offer convenient stopover connections. Dozens of airlines connect Keflavik to destinations across the US, Canada, and Europe, and the terminal features Iceland's largest duty-free shopping area. The Flybus and several taxi and rideshare services connect the airport to Reykjavik city center in approximately 45 minutes.
