Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon

Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon is Iceland's largest and deepest glacial lake, a stunning expanse of deep blue water filled with icebergs calved from the retreating Breiðamerkurjökull glacier on the south coast. Electric-blue and white icebergs of extraordinary shapes drift slowly to the sea, stranding on the adjacent Diamond Beach where they sparkle against the black volcanic sand.
