Dove Lake
Dove Lake is the most photographed location in Tasmania, a glacially formed lake at the foot of Cradle Mountain in the Cradle Mountain–Lake St Clair National Park. The iconic 6-km circuit walk around the lake takes 2-3 hours and offers constantly changing perspectives of the jagged dolerite peak reflected in the still water. Early morning, when mist rises from the lake and the mountain glows in the low light, produces some of Australia's most iconic wilderness photography.
