Diamond Beach
Diamond Beach is a dramatic black sand beach on Iceland's south coast adjacent to Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, where chunks of glacial ice wash ashore and glitter like diamonds. The crystal-clear blue-white ice sculptures create an otherworldly scene against jet-black sand. Seals often rest on the ice blocks. Diamond Beach is one of Iceland's most photographed natural wonders, especially beautiful at sunrise when light catches the crystalline ice.
