Český Krumlov Castle
Český Krumlov Castle is the second-largest castle complex in the Czech Republic after Prague Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site of Renaissance and Baroque palatial buildings perched on a horseshoe meander of the Vltava River above the perfectly preserved medieval town of Český Krumlov. The castle complex contains a Baroque theatre still in original condition, a 17th-century fountain, and one of Central Europe's most impressive castle gardens. The view from the castle tower over the red-roofed town and encircling river is one of the most picturesque in Bohemia.
