Cadillac Ranch
Cadillac Ranch is an eccentric public art installation on the outskirts of Amarillo, Texas, created in 1974 by the art collective Ant Farm. Ten vintage Cadillacs spanning 1949–1963 tail fin designs are buried nose-first in a wheat field along old Route 66. Visitors are encouraged to spray paint the cars, creating ever-changing colorful graffiti layers. Free and open 24 hours, it is one of America's most-visited roadside attractions.
