Aurland
Aurland and the Aurlandsfjord in western Norway offer one of the country's most spectacular and accessible fjord landscapes, with the Stegastein viewpoint's dramatic platform cantilevered 650 meters above the fjord providing one of Norway's most iconic views. The nearby village of Flåm is the terminus of the Flåmsbana — arguably the world's most scenic railway, descending 20 km from the Myrdal mountain station through waterfalls and gorges. Aurland also forms part of the Nærøyfjord UNESCO World Heritage landscape.
