Alhambra Granada

Alhambra Granada

The Alhambra is one of the world's greatest surviving examples of Moorish architecture, a palatial fortress complex crowning the hills of Granada in southern Spain. Built by the Nasrid dynasty in the 13th-14th centuries, it dazzles with intricately carved plasterwork, geometric tile mosaics, and serene reflecting pools. The Generalife gardens overflow with fountains and fragrant flowers. Daily visitor numbers are strictly limited, so advance booking is essential.
