Bastille Day

France's national holiday on July 14th commemorates the storming of the Bastille in 1789 with a magnificent military parade down the Champs-Élysées, followed by spectacular fireworks over the Eiffel Tower. Festivities spread across the entire country with public dances and celebrations.
