Day 1
Paris historic centre
Walk from the Louvre through the Tuileries to the Seine, keeping the first day compact after arrival.
Day 2
Versailles Palace and Gardens
Reserve timed entry, tour the palace and leave enough time for the formal gardens before returning to Paris.
Day 3
Giverny and Rouen
Visit Monet’s Garden in Giverny, then continue to Rouen for its cathedral and medieval centre.
Day 4
Chateau de Chambord
Drive into the Loire Valley and explore Chambord, with an overnight base near Amboise or Blois.

Amboise and Chateau de Chenonceau
