V&A Waterfront

The V&A Waterfront in Cape Town is South Africa's most visited destination, a vibrant harbor precinct built around the working Victoria & Alfred Docks. The complex mixes Victorian warehouses and modern buildings housing over 450 shops, restaurants, cinemas, and the excellent Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (Zeitz MOCAA). The harbor setting provides spectacular views of Table Mountain and is the departure point for ferries to Robben Island.

Table Mountain

Table Mountain is Cape Town's defining natural landmark, a flat-topped mountain rising 1,086 meters above sea level and creating an iconic silhouette visible from much of the city and the surrounding ocean. One of the New Seven Wonders of Nature and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it forms part of the Cape Floristic Region — the world's smallest and richest floral kingdom, with over 2,200 plant species found on its slopes. A rotating cable car ascends to the summit, where the vast plateau offers extraordinary 360-degree views of the Cape Peninsula, the Atlantic, and False Bay.
