Columbia Icefield & Athabasca Glacier

The Columbia Icefield is North America's largest non-polar icefield in the Canadian Rockies. The accessible Athabasca Glacier can be visited on guided Ice Explorer tours. The nearby Columbia Icefield Skywalk offers a glass-floored walkway 280 meters above the Sunwapta Valley. Together they form one of the most dramatic stops on the Icefields Parkway connecting Banff and Jasper national parks.
