Cape Byron Lighthouse
Cape Byron Lighthouse sits atop the most easterly point of mainland Australia, near Byron Bay in New South Wales. Completed in 1901, it has guided ships through coastal waters for over a century and remains active. The headland walk to the lighthouse offers spectacular coastal scenery, seasonal whale watching from June to November, and the opportunity to stand at Australia's easternmost tip.
