Barcelona Maritime Museum

The Barcelona Maritime Museum occupies the spectacular 14th-century Royal Shipyards, one of the finest examples of Gothic civil architecture in Europe. The collection includes a full-size replica of the Royal Galley of Don Juan of Austria, flagship of the Christian fleet at the Battle of Lepanto in 1571. The museum traces Barcelona's rich maritime heritage through fascinating displays of ships, maps, and seafaring instruments.
