Széchenyi Thermal Bath is Budapest's largest and most magnificent thermal spa complex, a grand neo-Baroque palace in City Park whose outdoor pools and yellow cupolas have been a Budapest institution since 1913. Fed by two thermal springs with water reaching 77°C, the complex offers 18 pools of varying temperatures, steam rooms, saunas, and massage services. Chess players hunched over boards in the steaming outdoor pools are an iconic Budapest image.
